The 3D RAGE II+DVD

is a highly integrated 64 bit graphics accelerator with superior support for 3D and motion video, making it ideal for multimedia PCs. New optimizations result in even more impressive 2D and 3D performance than in the 3D RAGE II, and new features allow high quality DVD/MPEG-2 playback.

Superior 2D acceleration is achieved through an advanced architecture which is optimized for 83 MHz SGRAM memory. This results in full performance at deep color depths and high resolutions up to 1600x1200.
The 3D RAGE II+DVD delivers superior 3D features and performance including perspectively correct texturing, video texturing, Gouraud shading and a host of other 3D special effects.
In addition to MPEG-2 assist, 3D RAGE II+DVD includes video enhancements such as Intercast support and video conferencing acceleration. Optional expandability using the ATI Multimedia Channel (AMC) is also included.
In addition, TV-out support is available through ATI's ImpacTV companion chip. The result is crisp, flicker-free graphics for a big-screen experience on entertainment, corporate and education PCs.
